The Quail Den is a hobby farm in central Ohio that offers shipping and local pickup of Coturnix eggs, button quail eggs, and live birds.

Typically I, Carly, take care of the quail and assess temperaments for breeding. My husband, Seth, also helps feed the quail and handles the chicks when he has time. Mainly he designs and creates poultry themed merchandise for me to wear/use and share with others.

My desire to have quail came about a few years ago when I saw button quail at a pet store. The tiny birds were adorable, but we didn't have space at the time to have them so the thought was put on the back burner. Fast forward some years and I found a few Facebook groups discussing quail and saw that some farms were breeding for temperament to have less flighty birds. I was hooked and decided to jump in by purchasing hatching eggs of rarer color varieties.

Here we are now, a little farm with lots of birds and ready to help others take the leap into quail keeping!
